The Fair labor Standards Act (FLSA) says that if you have work overtime you are to be paid for any additional work you did over and above a standard 40 hor work week.If you are an hourly worker who is required to attend a meeting or do training outside of your regular work hours, you may be entitled to overtime pay.
For example, if you are asked to come in before your shift to learn about a new product or to stay after your shift to meet with a vendor, you may be entitled to Floirda overtime wages.
